| Background: |
Lushan is an area of conglomerate limestone
one hour south of Chengdu. Lushan is known to have a long cave, partially developed
for tourism. It is reported to be complex, with multiple levels of both active and fossil
development and the owner believes it is over 50 kilometers long. Lushan has
minimal depth potential, but there are several potholes and depressions on the hills. |
| Objectives: |
The primary aim is to establish contacts in Sichuan and
open up a new area for international exploration. The expedition will survey and explore
the Lushan showcave to determine its true length. |
