Nandan 2005 Expedition

Location:

Nandan, Hechi County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China

Background:

Nandan is a cone karst area with multiple levels of large fossil phreas intersecting sporting stream passage. Expeditions in 2001 and 2003 mapped over 19km of passage.

Objectives:

The expedition will concentrate on the downstream course of the Nandan River, pushing northward towards the conjectured resurgence at Da Guo He (Beat the Dog River) and exploring new entrances found at the end of the 2003 expedition.
